The post employement Developmental Report is written in plain business language for the individual manager. It's focus is to provide an action oriented guide to help improve weaknesses. The Developmental Report includes:

  • An assessment of the individual manager;
  • An explanation of how he or she will act in given situations;
  • Developmental strategies and action plans to capitalize on strengths and improve weaknesses.
  • Recommendations on books, audio tapes, and seminars tailored to the individual's strengths and weaknesses. These recommendations are updated every 30 days to include the latest and best management training sources.

Many clients use these reports to create a Training Action Plan to jump start the new manager's career or tunraround a manager who is struggling.

The Developmental Report is divided into four sections:

  • Your Assess Feedback - is a review of strengths and weakness in terms of how the manager thinks, works, relates and influences others. Very revealing and written for the individual.
  • Developmental Suggestions - are the based on the manager's strengths and weaknesses. They include actions to take, books to read, tapes to review. Very focused and proven to work.
  • Developmental Action Plan - is a step by step process of creating and implementing an action plan to jump start the new hire's career or to turnaround a marginal manager. It is best implemented if compensation is tied to achieving the goals of this plan.
  • Developmental Comparison Report - shows how the manager compares to others in a similar job. The green bar represents peers and the dot is the individual. This is a very powerful tool and often a wakeup call for the marginal producer.
